Why Use Image to Image

Text-Driven Styles

Describe any style in plain words, from "vintage 1970s film grain" to "anime cel-shading". No reference image needed.

Adjustable Strength

The strength slider sets how aggressively the model departs from your original. Turn it down to tint the style lightly, turn it up to fully reimagine the image.

Structure Preserved

The Flux Dev model maintains the composition, subjects, and spatial layout of your original even when applying dramatic style changes.

Fast Turnaround

Most transformations finish in under 30 seconds, so you can try multiple prompts or strength levels without waiting long between iterations.

Flux Dev Image-to-Image Pipeline

Image to Image runs on the Flux Dev diffusion model with image conditioning. Your photo is encoded as a latent representation that anchors the generation, while the text prompt pulls the output toward the style you described.

The strength parameter sets the denoising depth. At low strength the model starts close to your image and makes smaller moves. At high strength it denoises from deeper in the noise, giving the style prompt more influence over the final result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Strength controls how far the model departs from your uploaded image. At 30% it makes subtle stylistic shifts while keeping the photo recognizable. At 80% the style prompt takes over almost completely. A setting around 50-60% is a good starting point for most images.

Anything you can put into words. Oil painting, watercolor, anime, cyberpunk neon, vintage film photography, charcoal sketch, pixel art, stained glass. The model reads the full description, so the more specific you are the closer the result matches your intent.

Style Transfer borrows the look from a second reference image. Image to Image takes your style description as text, so you are not limited to styles you have a photograph of. You can ask for a style that has never been photographed.

JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 20MB. Output is PNG format.

You retain full rights to the images you generate. Use them in commercial projects, print products, or client work.

Most transformations finish in 15 to 30 seconds. Larger files at high strength settings take a bit longer.

Above 85% the model has very little obligation to your original image. It may produce something that captures the described style but looks like a completely new image. If the subject needs to stay recognizable, keep strength below 70%.

Yes. Portraits work well. The model generally holds the face structure and body position while repainting in the new style.

No. Your uploaded file is used as input only. The result is a separate new image you can download.

Describe the style with concrete visual terms: medium, texture, lighting, and mood. "Impressionist oil painting with short thick brushstrokes in afternoon light" produces a much tighter result than "painting". Avoid describing the subject. The subject comes from your image. The prompt should describe only the style.
