Why Choose Our Group Photo Generator
Realistic Blending
Each person's lighting direction, color temperature, and scale are reconciled so the final portrait reads as a single photograph rather than a collage of separate shots.
Multiple People
Add between 2 and 6 separate portraits and they all end up in the same composed scene. The AI places each person at a position that fits the group size and the setting.
Custom Scenes
Type a scene description, such as "gathered on a rooftop at sunset" or "seated at a long dinner table," and the AI builds an environment that matches, placing the group inside it.
AI Powered
The fal.ai generative model handles the composition work: face preservation, pose estimation, and background synthesis all run together so the output is ready within a minute.
Perfect For
Powered by fal.ai
The fal.ai model powering this tool reads each portrait for facial geometry, skin tone, and lighting angle, then places each person into a coherent shared environment. Perspective, shadow direction, and color grading are matched across all subjects so the result looks like it came from one camera at one moment. You contribute the portraits and the scene idea; the model handles the blending.
Frequently Asked Questions
Upload between 2 and 6 individual portrait photos and, if you like, describe where you want everyone to appear. The fal.ai model reads each person's face, build, and lighting, then renders a single image where all of them share the same background and lighting conditions. The output looks like a real group shot rather than a cut-and-paste job.
Clear, front-facing portraits where the face is fully visible work best. Slight angles are acceptable. Each file should be JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 20MB. Very dark exposures, heavy filters, or significant motion blur will reduce how accurately the model reproduces the person's likeness.
The current limit is 2 to 6 people per generated image. One portrait per person. With larger groups, a scene description helps the model decide how to arrange everyone in the frame.
Typically 30 to 60 seconds. Generating a six-person scene takes longer than a two-person one because the model has more subjects to reconcile. A progress indicator shows you that work is happening.
Optional. Leave it empty and the model picks a neutral setting on its own. Add something specific, like "standing on a snowy mountain trail" or "at a kitchen table sharing a meal," and the scene matches what you described. More specific prompts give you more predictable results.
Portraits you upload are not visible to other users and are not used to train any model. Generated images appear in your personal gallery and can be deleted at any time.
Output is a high-resolution PNG. Skin tones and lighting are consistent across all subjects in the frame. The file is sized for sharing on social platforms or printing at standard portrait sizes.
Because you supply the source portraits, the generated image derives from your own assets. Make sure you have the consent of every person whose likeness you use, particularly for commercial or public-facing applications.
Regenerate with the same inputs and you will get a different composition. If a specific person is not rendering well, try a different source portrait of them, preferably one with direct light on the face. Sharpening the scene description also tends to give the model better guidance for posture and placement.
Manual compositing means cutting each person from their background, correcting for perspective, matching exposure and color between shots, and then painting in shadows that make sense. This tool skips all of that because the AI generates the final image rather than assembling it from layers.
