Autodesk Flow Studio, originally launched as Wonder Studio, automates the most labor-intensive parts of visual effects by detecting actors in live-action video and replacing or augmenting them with CG characters using markerless AI motion capture. Lighting, shadows, and compositing are handled automatically, producing results that would otherwise require a full VFX pipeline. Recent updates added text-to-3D and image-to-3D generation, AI rigging, and a Neural Layer for character workflows. The platform uses a credit system and offers a free tier alongside Lite ($10 per month), Pro ($95 per month), and Enterprise plans, making professional-grade VFX accessible to independent filmmakers and large studios alike.
