GPT4All lets you download and run open-source language models entirely on your personal Windows, macOS, or Linux machine, with no API keys and no data sent to external servers. The desktop application supports a growing catalogue of models including DeepSeek variants, and includes LocalDocs, which lets you chat privately with your own files and documents. GPU acceleration is available for NVIDIA and AMD graphics cards via Nomic Vulkan. A Python library is also provided for developers who want to integrate local model inference into their own projects. The software is fully open source under the MIT license and free to use commercially.
