About
GET3D is a generative model developed by NVIDIA's Toronto AI Lab that produces explicit textured 3D meshes directly from 2D image data. It can generate cars, furniture, animals, buildings, and human figures with detailed geometry and high-fidelity textures compatible with standard rendering engines.
The model also supports text-guided generation and can produce materials with view-dependent lighting effects. It is aimed at researchers and developers building tools for virtual worlds, game asset pipelines, and 3D content creation at scale. The code is available on GitHub as open source; commercial licensing inquiries go through NVIDIA's Research Licensing portal.
