Galileo AI let designers and product teams describe an interface in plain text and receive a fully formed, editable UI layout within seconds, dramatically shortening the early ideation phase. The tool generated multi-component screens that could be refined through follow-up prompts or edited manually. In mid-2025, Google acquired Galileo AI and integrated its generative design technology into Google Stitch, a Google Labs product powered by Gemini. The original usegalileo.ai domain now redirects to Google Stitch, which preserves the core text-to-prototype workflow within Google's ecosystem and is available as a free beta with generation limits.
