Blackbox AI uses a Chairman LLM architecture that sends a coding request to hundreds of AI models simultaneously and selects the strongest result. Beyond standard code generation and debugging, it handles image-to-code conversion from Figma designs or screenshots, voice coding via a CLI integration, and an agentic project management layer called Conductor.
The platform runs across VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, its own Blackbox IDE, a browser extension, a full CLI, and iOS and Android mobile apps. An encrypted desktop application is also available for teams with stricter data requirements.
